I’m delighted you’ve come to 2024. Welcome. Now that the year is well underway, it’s appropriate to look at some of the most fascinating new vehicles that will be available for purchase in 2024. With names like Acura, Chevrolet, Mercedes-Benz, and many more represented on this list, there are a plethora of SUVs, EVs, and even a few sports cars in the works. So have a look and let us know which vehicles you can’t wait to buy in 2024.

For 2024, Acura made relatively minor changes to the TLX car. If you squint, you can see the new 19-inch wheels and frameless grille. More crucially, Acura replaced the base model from the previous year with a new entry-level Technology trim that comes with added amenities and a free all-wheel drive A-Spec option. An enhanced AcuraWatch safety and driver-assistance package is included with every 2024 TLX model. The base price of the Acura TLX for 2024 is $45,245; the A-Spec model with AWD is $50,195.

The new BMW X2 has arrived in town. Bold styling and a wide range of powertrain options, including electric, characterize the 2024 model. The base 2.0-liter turbocharged engine in the gas-powered X2 produces 241 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque, while the 312 horsepower M35i model can reach 60 mph in 5.2 seconds. With a range of 279 miles (WLTP), the electric iX2 will not be available in the US until later in the year.

There is controversy about the new Chevrolet Blazer EV. Even so, the electric SUV is equipped with a 102.0-kWh battery that can produce up to 340 horsepower or an 85.0-kWh battery pack that can produce 288 horsepower and 333 pound-feet of torque. The 320-mile maximum driving range and 557 horsepower are available to those who wait for the SS variant, which goes on sale later in 2024. Meanwhile, the Blazer EV base model is priced at $56,745.

The TrailSport version of the Honda Passport has been redesigned for 2024. It features an upgraded suspension with modified spring rates, modified damper valve tuning, improved stabilizer bars for articulation, and 18-inch wheels wrapped in General Grabber A/Tx all-terrain tires. In addition, the Passport TrailSport may now be had in stunning new Diffused Sky Blue paint. Base Passport prices begin at $43,275, while the TrailSport model is priced at $49,345.

For the 2024 model year, the second-generation Ridgeline celebrates its seventh birthday and gets some pleasant upgrades. Along with some interior updates, Honda has included a new, tough TrailSport trim with 18-inch wheels, all-terrain tires, and special damper tuning. According to Honda, it’s their most capable pickup ever. Ridgeline pricing begins at $46,355.

The Cybertruck is now available for purchase, however it took some time. Three drivetrain options are available for Tesla’s new electric pickup: Cyberbeast, all-wheel drive, and rear-wheel drive. With 845 horsepower and a 2.6-second 0-60 time, the Cyberbest has all the bells and whistles. For $99,990, it can also tow 11,000 pounds and cover 320 miles on a single charge. If that’s still too much, the AWD model, which costs $79,990, has 600 horsepower, a 4.1-second 0-60 time, and a 340-mile range.

The ZDX moniker is being revived by Acura with the release of its first electric SUV. The 500-horsepower Type S variant of the new Acura ZDX, which is expected to go on sale early this year, will be Acura’s “most powerful and quickest accelerating SUV” ever. It will also feature a more conventional form than its quirky predecessor and an infotainment system powered by Google. With a starting price of “roughly $60,000,” the ZDX can travel up to 325 miles.

For 2024, the Audi Q8 and SQ8 get revised styling. The SUVs get standard LED headlights with a matrix design and a bigger, honeycomb-patterned version of Audi’s octagonal Singleframe grille, which is now standard on all models. The revised 3.0-liter inline-six engine in the base model generates 335 horsepower and 369 pound-feet of torque, while the twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 engine in the SQ8 produces 500 horsepower and 568 lb-feet. For 2024, the standard Q8 starts at $74,895, while the SQ8 costs $97,705 in total.

In 2024, the gorgeous Cadillac Celestiq will go on sale. The luxury electric vehicle, which is likely to cost $340,000 more than anticipated, is slated to have a dual-motor, all-wheel-drive system and produce about 600 horsepower. Its estimated 0-60 mph time is 3.8 seconds. Aim for a driving range of somewhat more than 300 miles overall.

Major upgrades were made to the Traverse for 2024. The redesigned SUV boasts a more luxurious inside with a sizable 17.7-inch touchscreen and a beautiful appearance with a robust new Z71 variant for (mild) off-roading capability. The Genesis G70 has undergone a little makeover to appear better for 2024, and a new base model with 300 horsepower and Brembo brakes as standard is available. Compared to the previous generation, the 2.0-liter turbocharged engine produces 48 horsepower more. The twin-turbo V6 is still an option for the G70, but it costs $48,125 in addition to $40,525 for the standard model

2024 Honda Prologue

The Prologue, Honda’s first electric SUV, will be available in the US. Based on specifications, the new Prologue, which shares an Ultium platform with GM, may have a range of up to 300 miles and cost approximately $45,000 at launch. Anticipate its release in the early part of this year.
