With the release of Street Fighter 6, Diablo 4, Final Fantasy 16, Starfield, Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, and Baldur’s Gate 3, 2023 was a big year for video games. However, 2024 is already shaping up to be just as good. Along with significant expansions for Destiny 2, Elden Ring, Final Fantasy 14 Online, and World of Warcraft, big new games like Star Wars Outlaws, Dragon’s Dogma 2, and Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door are planned.Although release dates for video games are always subject to change, Polygon’s guide to the upcoming games in 2024 will be updated frequently with new titles, dates, and the inevitable postponements.
